Angel Caves of Pertosa

Take a break from the everyday humdrum, reconnect with nature, and treat the family to journey to the Angel Caves of Pertosa. These caves are over 34 million years ago and unwind for about 2,500 me across tunnels and immense caverns. To visit the caves one must cross on a small boat, an underground river into the depths of the earth for some 100 m. Once there you will discover, stalactites and drapes of candid alabaster hang from the vaults of the caverns, waterfalls, stalagmites of strange shapes capture incredulous gazes, tunnels and arabesque corridors lit by the subtle play of light into vast salons of rock, and other incredible architecture that nature has created throughout millions of years. After the visit to the caves we will stop for lunch in a local restaurant (included)
