USO Vicenza Volunteer of the Month - May 2024

Please join USO Vicenza in congratulating Terri Bender on being named our May 2024 Volunteer of the Month! On a sad note, after 3 wonderful years Terri will be leaving us and rotating back to the U.S. to start the next chapter in her life. If you get a chance, swing by the center, and say farewell to Terri. She is a kind and giving member of our volunteer team. She is always willing to lend a helping hand! Terri loves helping wherever she can. Terri’s presence is a welcoming addition to the center. She is one of those volunteers who will jump in and take the initiative. If she sees something that needs to be done, whether it is cleaning, decorating, and especially baking, she does it immediately and is not afraid to venture outside of her comfort zone. Terri’s outstanding contributions to the USO Vicenza and the Vicenza Military Community remind us of the power of volunteering and the difference it can make in the lives of our military families. Terri’s love for this initiative, designed to provide comfort to military families during challenging times, is evident in the enthusiasm with which she approaches every activity.
