USO Vicenza Volunteer of the 1st Quarter

Please join us in congratulating Raisa Hedesa on being selected as the USO Vicenza’s Volunteer of the Quarter for the 1st quarter of 2024. Raisa’s exceptional dedication and contributions to the USO Vicenza and the Vicenza Military Community continue to inspire us all. One of the aspects that truly distinguishes Raisa as a cherished member of the USO Vicenza family is her active involvement with our Teddy Bear Club. Raisa’s heartfelt commitment to this initiative, aimed at providing comfort to military children during challenging times, shines through in her enthusiastic participation in every activity. She has become a beacon of joy and reassurance for these young ones, brightening their days with her kind words and infectious smile. Whether it’s baking a batch of warm, fresh cookies, her kindness and ability to connect with the children, or simply her infectious smile, Raisa has a remarkable way of uplifting the atmosphere of the center and fostering community spirit. She consistently goes above and beyond, taking it upon herself to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the center, ensuring it remains a welcoming home away from home for our military members and their families. Once again, let’s extend our heartfelt gratitude to Raisa for her invaluable contributions as the USO Vicenza’s Volunteer of the Quarter for the 1st quarter of 2024. Your dedication and passion are truly appreciated.

Volunteers like Raisa are how the USO continues to complete our mission of connecting service members and families to home and country while stationed abroad. By donating time and skills, our volunteers allow the team in Vicenza the chance to bring many amazing programs to the military community. Thank you, Raisa, for contributing to our efforts “for the people who serve”!
