USO Vicenza Volunteer of the Month - November 2023

Please join us in congratulating Crystal Hounschell on becoming the USO Vicenza’s Volunteer of the Month for November 2023. Crystal’s outstanding contributions to the USO Vicenza and the Vicenza Military Community remind us of the power of volunteering and the difference it can make in the lives of our military families. One of the aspects that makes Crystal such a beloved member of the USO Vicenza family is her active involvement with our Teddy Bear Club. Crystal’s love for this initiative, designed to provide comfort to military children during challenging times, is evident in the enthusiasm with which she approaches every activity. She has become a source of joy and reassurance for these young ones, brightening their days with her kind words and infectious smile. Whether it is a batch of warm, fresh cookies, her kindness and ability to connect with the children, or her infectious smile, Crystal has a way of bringing up the atmosphere of the center and helping to bring the community together. She often takes it upon herself to clean and organize the center, ensuring that it remains a place where our military members and their families feel at home. Once again, help us thank Crystal for becoming USO Vicenza’s Volunteer of the Month for November 2023. Volunteers like Crystal are how the USO continues to complete our mission of connecting service members and families to home and country while stationed abroad.
