USO Vicenza Volunteer of the 4th Quarter

What makes Pedro’s story even more heartwarming is the fact that he’s one of our younger volunteers, a bright student at VHS during the school year. Yet, his youthful energy and enthusiasm have proven to be an asset to our organization. When you meet Pedro, you can’t help but be infected by his contagious enthusiasm. Pedro has quickly become a familiar face at the USO, especially during our gaming events. He effortlessly takes charge, calling out numbers, and adds a touch of humor that keeps the crowd in splits. And that’s not all; when he’s not actively running an event, he takes up the mantle of preparing decorations, ensuring the snack supply is well-stocked, and diligently tending to the general maintenance of our facility. Most recently, he’s taken on the challenge of yard work, expertly handling the task of clearing leaves from our main picnic area. But what truly sets Pedro apart is his infectious positivity. He exudes the kind of optimism that brightens up even the rainiest days. His perpetual smile and the genuine love he holds for our community are inspiring to all who have had the privilege of working alongside him.
