USO Vicenza Volunteer of the 3nd Quarter 2023 - Freida

We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on Frieda Carter, our exceptional volunteer of the 3rd quarter. Frieda’s dedication, enthusiasm, and unwavering support have made her an invaluable asset to the USO Vicenza community. Her passion for connecting with service members and their families, along with her eagerness to contribute to various events and programs, truly sets her apart. She is often referred to as the “Caserma Ederle Ambassador.” She enjoys serving our patrons during our events, ensuring our soldiers and families enjoy a home away from home experience. Freida loves to talk and has been instrumental at our info tables, briefings, and event just casual encounters around the community. She ensures that she talks to as many people as she can and lets them know about what the USO has to offer them. She has been wonderful and recruiting new volunteers to the team and we see an increase in sign-ups after every info table she works. Freida’s high energy and bubbly personality have been a tremendous asset when conducting Newcomers Briefings and other informational venues. She is an absolute delight to work with and always has a positive outlook on events and programs. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Frieda for her exceptional contributions and look forward to continued collaboration in making a positive impact on the lives of our military families.
