Military Children Finding Their Inner “Water Warrior” at Water Wars

Summer is the perfect time for military children to enjoy splashing around in the water, and what better way to do that than by participating in USO Naples’, “Water Wars!” Every Wednesday during July and August, USO Naples brings the fun to Central Park which buzzes with laughter and joy as children from all over the community play in various pools and find their inner “water warriors” with water balloons and super soakers.

As refreshing water soars through the air, children jump at the opportunity to participate in water balloon relay races where they can meet new friends and cooperate in some friendly competition. There is such a wide variety of water activities to participate in and pools of various sizes, that there is something thrilling for all ages to enjoy! Even our smallest water warriors enjoy their time in the baby pools.

USO Naples is grateful for events like Water Wars that bring together both military children and parents to create lasting summer memories and newfound friendships. Moments like these remind us of the beautiful community Naples has created with just a little help from USO Naples.
