USO Naples - June 2023 Volunteer of the Month

Please join USO Naples in congratulating our incredible volunteer, MA2 Tyler Shepard, on earning June 2023 Volunteer of the Month! Tyler has been volunteering with us since March and in a short time has amassed over 85 hours in 27 different shifts. Tyler can often be seen supporting early morning and late night AMC flights, helping to man the USO center, and most recently, posing as our USO Uncle Sam at Festa Americana! Tyler has offered an innumerable amount of help prepping for events, providing excellent customer service to visitors, and assisting in deep cleaning our center. He can truly be relied on to support after-hours USO events and deliver assistance with whatever task is thrown his way. Tyler enjoys the opportunity to “ connect with the NSA Naples community outside of uniform” and on a more personal level.

Originally from Andover, New York, in his free time, Tyler enjoys hiking through the great outdoors and the Naples area and chef-ing it up in the kitchen with new recipes.
