USO Vicenza Volunteer of the Month - June 2023

Please join the USO Vicenza in congratulating Jeffery and Sherry Haines on being named our June 2023, Volunteers of the Month! Normally the USO Vicenza only selects one volunteer to hold this position, but since you rarely get Jeffery without Sherry, we thought it was fitting to honor them at the same time. Jeffery and Sherry have been amazing and really stepped up for our in-processing briefings. They are normally out at our Bingo events on Del Din spinning the basket and calling out the numbers. It is always a joy to see them at the events as they are always in a good mood and truly interested in the well-being of our patrons. They both really enjoy serving our patrons during our events, ensuring our soldiers and families enjoy a home away from home experience. They have been instrumental in getting the information out at our briefings for the newly arriving soldiers, so they know where the USO is located and what services we have to offer. Jeffery and Sherry are so kind and sweet that they fit in at any of our events. Service members and their families feel comfortable approaching them and enjoy conversing during our events. They are an absolute delight to work with and always have a positive outlook on events and programs.
