USO Vicenza Volunteer of the Month - May 2023

Please join the USO Vicenza in congratulating Freida Carter on being named our May 2023, Volunteer of the Month! Freida has only been volunteering with the USO Vicenza since the fall of 2022 and is already making herself known at the USO and in the community. She is lovingly referred to as the “Caserma Ederle Ambassador”. She enjoys serving our patrons during our events, ensuring our soldiers and families enjoy a home away from home experience. Freida loves to talk and has been instrumental at our info tables, she ensures that she talks to as many people as she can and lets them know about what the USO has to offer them. She has been wonderful and recruiting new volunteers to the team and we see an increase in sign-ups after every info table she works. Freida’s high energy and bubbly personality have been a tremendous asset when conducting Newcomers Briefings and other informational venues. She is an absolute delight to work with and always has a positive outlook on events and programs. Once again, join us in congratulating Freida on becoming our May 2023 Volunteer of the Month. Volunteers like Freida are how the USO continues to complete our mission of connecting service members and families to home and country while stationed abroad. By donating time and skills, our volunteers allow the team in Vicenza the chance to bring many amazing programs to the military community.
