USO Vicenza Volunteer of the Month - March 2023

Please join USO Vicenza in congratulating Talynn Williamson on being named our March 2023, Volunteer of the Month! Talynn has been volunteering with the USO Vicenza since the fall of 2021 and has brought both innovation and gratitude values to the team and community. She is currently a volunteer/intern working toward a degree in Social Work, but always manages to find time to volunteer, while pursuing her degree. Talynn loves supporting our patrons during our many types of events, ensuring our soldiers and families enjoy a home away from home, while helping them create new memories during their time here. When we need last minute support, she is quick to respond and works hard to help where she can. She has led the way of both our Teddy Bear Club and many of our Coffee Connections programs, bringing joy to our children and spouses, while teaching them new activities too. She also assists with many of our other programs, supporting the staff with planning, coordinating, and hosting these events, striving to bring excellence to all she does. With all of this support, it is no wonder that she has almost reached 500 hours in volunteer time. She is an absolute delight to work with and always has a positive outlook on events and programs. Once again, please join us in congratulating Talynn on becoming our March 2023 Volunteer of the Month.

Volunteers like Talynn are how the USO continues to complete our mission of connecting service members and families to home and country while stationed abroad.
