USO Vicenza Volunteer of the Month - February 2023

Please join the USO Vicenza in congratulating John Azucena on being named our February 2023, Volunteer of the Month! John is the spouse of an active-duty soldier and has been volunteering with the USO Vicenza since December of 2022. When John showed up at the center, he was eager to get started and has already proven himself as an outstanding volunteer. John has been a great addition to the Vicenza team. He is there to help assist with nearly every event. It doesn’t matter what assistance is needed John is more than willing to help. You can often find him in the kitchen cooking or baking, decorating the center for events, or just general center operational tasks. John loves to head over to Del Din with the staff and assist with game night or warrior wagon. He is always eager to help with supply shopping and keeping the storage room neat and tidy. John is a nice guy and is very accommodating to all patrons, ensuring that their needs are taken care of while they are in the center. We look forward to seeing what John has in store as a volunteer in the future. Once again, join us in congratulating John on becoming our February 2023 Volunteer of the Month.

Volunteers like John are how the USO continues to complete our mission of connecting service members and families to home and country while stationed abroad.
