USO Vicenza January 2023 Volunteer of the Month

Please join the USO Vicenza in congratulating Carmen Costas on being named our January 2023, Volunteer of the Month! Carmen has only been volunteering with the USO Vicenza since October of 2022 but has already racked up some serious hours including 121 for this month alone. She started the year off with our New Year’s Brunch, which served a record number of patrons, and just kept on going all month. She enjoys serving our patrons during our events and ensuring that our soldiers and families enjoy a home away from home. Much of her work can been seen during our larger events, whether it is decorating for Christmas or creating and constructing decorations for the Chinese New Year event, her beautiful designs and craftwork can be enjoyed by all. When we need last-minute support, she is quick to respond, and often braves the early mornings to meet up with deploying soldiers to ensure they have a good send off. Carmen has a sweet and kind nature and truly enjoys giving to others. She is an absolute delight to work with and always has a positive outlook on events and programs. Once again, join us in congratulating Carmen on becoming our January 2023 Volunteer of the Month.

Volunteers like Carmen are how the USO continues to complete our mission of connecting service members and families to home and country while stationed abroad. By donating time and skills, our volunteers allow the team in Vicenza the chance to bring many amazing programs to the military community.
