USO Naples - December 2022 Volunteer of the Month

Please join us in congratulating Arjean Smith as our December 2022 Volunteer of the Month!

While working full-time being active-duty and serving multiple TDY’s, Arjean has still managed to serve over 50 hours baking for 17 different programs and events. And not only does Arjean spend these countless hours baking for our service members and their families, but she even went above and beyond and personally donated all of them. Arjean has been a rock for USO Naples behind the scenes, especially during this holiday season, and she has shown up time and time again with her giving and selfless character to help ensure that troops overseas were provided with the comfort and taste of home.

In addition to Arjean’s commitment to baking, she and her family also personally volunteered themselves to help with providing presents for multiple children for the Holiday Comrel project. When she found out there were still kids on the list without sponsors, she and her family stepped up and took them all. Arjean truly has a heart of gold, and we are so incredibly thankful for her and her family’s giving spirit and service. Thank you, Arjean, for all you’ve done for the Naples community.
