Bingo at the USO Sigonella Air Terminal

USO Sigonella is always looking for ways to get our Troops involved at our Center. Being located inside of the Air Terminal can sometimes limit the need for service members stationed here to drop by for a visit, however, you can count on USO to come up with the perfect solution! USO Sigonella introduced a monthly event on Tuesday, August 30th, called Troop Appreciation Day, where service members are invited to the Center and welcomed with a variety of activities and games to give them a break during lunchtime. This time several rounds of Bingo were played for guests to participate in and win some amazing USO apparel. Service members were delighted to play and connect with USO staff and their fellow active-duty community that joined in on the fun.

Light refreshments and snacks were made available for everyone to enjoy while testing their luck to be the Bingo champion! New relationships were established between service members who bonded during their lunch break at the USO. Troop Appreciation Day gives USO Sigonella the opportunity to reward hard-working service members by presenting an event centered around them and their efforts here in Sicily. Each guest was thankful to spend time here and looks forward to returning next month to participate in another Troop Appreciation Day. Congrats to the winners of the USO blankets and water bottles! It is extremely rewarding to see the smiling faces of the Sigonella community at each event on base!
