USO Naples Volunteer of the Month - Brittany Gonzalez

Please join the USO Naples in congratulating our May 2022 Volunteer of the Month, Mrs. Brittany Gonzalez!

The USO could not achieve all its goals without the immense support, help, care, and dedication that our volunteers, like Brittany, provide. Brittany chose to be a USO volunteer to be a contributing and proactive member of the Naples military community, and in order to meet new people. It is through her volunteer work that Mrs. Gonzalez has met others she calls friends and has found work that is meaningful to her and will help with her career aspirations. Brittany has commented, “I really enjoy spending time with everyone while I’m volunteering! I cannot pick a favorite program! I get something different out of all the ones that I volunteer for. I especially love the ones that involve children because it reminds me of working in after-school programs.”

Working with children is one of Brittany’s passions and being able to help with events like Snack Attack, Teddy Bear Club, and Hot Dog Friday is something she really enjoys. Brittany has extensive experience and knowledge working with children; she has her Master of Education. In addition to working for after-school programs, Brittany also worked for a charter school as an instructional specialist. Her skills and enthusiasm are one of our greatest assets. The USO Naples team is truly grateful to have such a hardworking, passionate, kind, and helpful volunteer!
