USO Vicenza Volunteer of the Month - May 2022

Please join USO Vicenza in congratulating our newest Volunteer of the Month, Hayden Swanson!

Hayden first started volunteering back in January 2021 and has since supported with over 373 hours of volunteer time. He enjoys serving our patrons during our food events, ensuring our soldiers and families enjoy a taste of home. When we need last minute support, she is quick to respond and help where she can. During any of our big events you will find Hayden there rolling up his sleeves and pitching in to make the event successful. Whether it was hanging up decorations, moving equipment, cleaning out the storage room, or cooking in the kitchen, he is quick to jump in and get the task done to help the community enjoy the events and make the center a little better. Hayden is always appreciated by our patrons and volunteers and wants to ensure everyone feels at home.

Volunteers like Hayden are how the USO Vicenza completes our mission of connecting service members to family, home, and country throughout their service to our nation. By donating time and skills, our volunteers allow the team in Vicenza the chance to bring many amazing programs to the military community.
