USO Sigonella Volunteer of the Quarter Quarter 2 2022

Please join USO Sigonella in congratulating our Volunteer of the Quarter for Quarter 2, Mary Scruggs! Mary became a part of the USO family in February 2021 and has since become an extraordinary asset to our operations here in Sicily. Mary has so far dedicated 330.5 hours to volunteer with us since she joined our team last year, and she doesn’t plan to stop there! She has attended countless programs, trained multiple new volunteers, and even began planning events she would then later help execute. She has even worked alongside us in the Center to improve our Center operations with new strategies and innovative ideas that made us more successful. Mary is Active Duty in the Air Force and is also a devoted mother of two beautiful boys. We are very grateful for all her hard work and dedication she brings with her every time she volunteers. Thank you, Mary, for going above and beyond for your fellow active-duty community, we couldn’t do it without you!
