USO Vicenza Volunteer of the Month - March 2022

Please join USO Vicenza in congratulating our newest Volunteer of the Month for March 2022, Maribel Lopez! Maribel first started volunteering back in October 2021 and has since supported with over 40 hours of volunteer time. She enjoys serving our patrons during our food events, ensuring our soldiers and families enjoy a taste of home. When we need last minute support, she is quick to respond and help where she can. During the kick-off of our Christmas season, she was excited to help set up our center Christmas tree, turning the center into a festive and cozy area. Maribel really enjoys crafting and played a big part in setting up, decorating, and hosting the USO Special Delivery Baby Shower. Whether it was hanging up streamers, blowing up balloons, or decorating tables, she was thrilled at the opportunity to help with this amazing event for the community. Maribel’s smile and can-do attitude is always appreciated by our patrons and volunteers, as she wants to ensure everyone feels at home. When not volunteering, she loves spending time with her family, including two fur babies, and enjoys a nice cup of coffee.

Volunteers like Maribel are how the USO is able to complete our mission of connecting service members and families to home and country while stationed abroad. By donating time and skills, our volunteers allow the team in Vicenza the chance to bring many amazing programing to the military community.
