USO Naples Volunteer of the Month December 2021

USO Naples is proud to introduce and announce Maria Stoker as our Volunteer of the Month for December 2021! Maria is one of our youngest volunteer committee members and joined the USO Naples team this past September. She has played a critical role with the USO during the holiday season - from helping military families get in Fall mood at Harvest Fest to serving our single and unaccompanied service members on Christmas Eve, she has dedicated over 100 hours of volunteer service in the short time he has been with our team.

Originally from Texas, Maria is stationed here in Naples with her family. Many of you have been welcomed by her at events like Breakfast Brigade, Spouse Coffee or at her favorite program, Troop Lunch. “My favorite program is Troop lunch because I love serving everyone and the atmosphere when we serve is just great. It’s very fun to see our work appreciated when we serve our troops,” says Maria. Our volunteer force is built on the foundation of selflessness and love for the community, and Maria has truly shown how much he cares for the NSA Naples Community. “I chose to volunteer for the USO because I love giving back to my community and I thought this would be a great way to become more involved and meet more people,” says Maria when asked why she chose to volunteer. “After the summer I realized I had so much free time and knew this would be a great way to dedicate my time.” The USO Naples team is proud to have Maria on our team and would like to express our deepest gratitude for her volunteer service. Please join us as we congratulate her as our Volunteer of the Month for December 2021!
