USO Sigonella Volunteer of the Month- Falan Fanning

Please join USO Sigonella in congratulating Falan Fanning, our March Volunteer of the Month!

Falan joined our team of volunteers earlier this year and has since been an asset to multiple programs here in Sigonella. She has gone above and beyond for our service members by attending our weekly Troop Lunch events. Falan is a valuable team player and ensures the success of our programs, all while being an active-duty service member herself. We can always count on her to assist us in the delivery of the USO mission with a positive and hard-working attitude.

MA3 Fanning has been in the Navy for 4 years now. Originally from York Pennsylvania, she now resides here in Sicily with her two sons. We asked Falan why she likes to volunteer with USO Sigonella, to which she replied, “I really enjoy giving back to my fellow service members. It’s fun being able to assist them when they come into the USO Center and I’m thankful to have that opportunity.” USO Sigonella is more than grateful to have her on our team. We are so eager to watch her continue her volunteer journey with us and thankful for all the amazing work she’s put in so far. Congratulations MA3 Fanning!
