USO Naples Volunteer of the Quarter Q3 - Morgan Flowers

USO Naples would like to introduce one of our outstanding USO Volunteers, Morgan Flowers. Morgan has radiated a positive energy, attitude and work ethic since she joined the USO Naples Volunteer team in January 2021. She has shown her dedication to the USO mission time and time again, volunteering at events where last minute support is needed without any hesitation. In just 8 months she has volunteered for nearly 40 shifts, supported 3 ship visits, and volunteered at multiple events across both Support Site and Capodichino in the same day. It is our pleasure to announce her as the USO Naples Volunteer of the Quarter for Q3 2021.

Many of you have seen her welcoming you at events like Troop Lunch, Cup of Joe, Ice Cream on Wheels or even dressed up as our friendly dinosaur at National Selfie Day. “Troop Lunch is my favorite event because even though we only see the hard working men and women for a few minutes while they are on break, it’s an opportunity to get them to smile,” Morgan says when asked what her favorite event is. Our volunteer force is built on the foundation of selflessness and love for the community, and Morgan has truly shown how much she cares for the NSA Naples Community. “I chose to volunteer with the USO because I love to help people and make them laugh. I get the opportunity to show support to active military and their families through humor every day” she says.

Whether it be a weekly Troop Lunch or a special Welcome Home event for a ship, Morgan has played a substantial role in carrying out the USO mission. She has donated over 122 volunteer hours this year alone and we could not be prouder to have her on our team. When Morgan isn’t volunteering, you can find her spending her free time cooking, baking, painting or traveling Europe with her husband. The USO Naples team is grateful to have Morgan as one of our hardworking, outgoing and positive volunteers and would like to express our deepest gratitude for her volunteer service. Please join us as we congratulate her as our Volunteer of the Quarter!
