USO Vicenza Volunteer of the Month - May 2021

Please join the USO Vicenza in congratulating Paula Villalobos on being named our May 2021, Volunteer of the Month! Paula has been volunteering with the USO Vicenza since September 2019 and has made a positive impact on the Vicenza Military Community and our hearts. She is originally from Chicago Illinois and is married to an active-duty soldier in the 173rd. She has been living in Italy for two and a half years with her husband Emilio, her daughter Lilah, and their pet bunny Chini. When Paula is not volunteering, she and her family enjoy traveling around Europe and is always planning her next trip. Paula also enjoys horror movie marathons, dancing, cooking, and keeping an eye out for a thrifty purchase. Paula has been a tremendous addition to the USO Vicenza family and her expertise in the kitchen shows. She has become one of our seasoned kitchen volunteers coming in to help prep and serve for Tasty Tuesday, Troop Lunch Thursday, and had even been mastering her barista skills during Wake-Up-Wednesday. It is not just the kitchen where Paula shines, she is also very talented in decorating and has added her special touch to some of our Spouse Social and Teddy Bear Club events. Paula has truly stepped up during this trying time and become one of our go to volunteers when we have last minute spaces to fill or events to accomplish.
