USO Sigonella Volunteer of the Quarter-Ashely Brown

Here at USO Sigonella we take great pride in the service we provide to the hard-working service members and families stationed at NAS Sigonella. To be successful at what we do we require a reliable and selfless team at our side, and that team is made up of our wonderful volunteers. Our volunteers are the reason we can reach so many people on a weekly basis and without their support our reach would be very limited. We are proud to have our volunteers represent USO Sigonella and of their willingness to serve our community.

Meet our Volunteer of the Quarter LS2 Ashley Brown. You may recognize her from Troop Lunch To-Go, Taste of Home To-Go, Cup of Joe and Wellness Wednesday. Since becoming a volunteer in July 2019, Ashley has continued to go above and beyond for our community. She has recently taken a more leadership role where she is able to lead events without USO staff present, which has helped our operation reach more people. Recently she was asked to come in for an early morning event to take lead, and without hesitation she was there bright and early ready to go. With all her hard work and dedication she has given to the USO, especially after COVID restrictions, she has earned herself not only USO Sigonella Volunteer of the Quarter, but she has also been named USO Italy’s Volunteer of the Quarter. This is a great honor and we are proud to have Ashley represent USO Italy! Thank you, Ashley for your dedication to our cause and we can’t wait to keep working with you in the months to come!!
