USO Vicenza Volunteer of the Month - February 2021

Please join the USO Vicenza in congratulating Lisa Haynes for being our February 2021 Volunteer of the Month. Lisa came to Vicenza from Texas, where she spent a great part of her life with her husband and son. Lisa arrived in Vicenza in May 2019 with her husband, who is retired Army and now works as a civilian. Prior to arriving to Vicenza Lisa worked for the State of Texas as an employment counselor, present day Lisa spends her days enjoying a relaxing retiree lifestyle. When Lisa is not at home relaxing or spending time with her husband, she enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community. Lisa began volunteering with USO Vicenza shortly after arriving and has completed over 180 hours. Lisa enjoys seeing the joy on our service members faces when we host our different exciting events. Lisa’s favorite event she has volunteered at has been Trivia Nights at Del Din. Lisa also plays a big part in helping keep our center safe and clean, as she takes on many CSR shifts and helps ensure that our patrons follow current COVID guidelines. Thank Lisa for your volunteer service and efforts in meeting our mission. We could not do this with people like you!
