USO Sigonella Volunteer of the Month January-Peter Wallace

Here at USO Sigonella we take great pride in the services we provide to the service members and families of NAS Sigonella. We are fortunate to have an amazing volunteer team that truly cares and enjoys giving back to our great community, and that is what makes our job here so special. Without our volunteers we could not do what we do each day, and for that we are forever grateful.

Meet USO Sigonella’s Volunteer of the Month for January 2021, AT1 Peter Wallace. You may recognize him from Troop Lunch To-Go, Taste of Home To-Go and helping around the center. Originally from Webster, Massachusetts Peter is with the AIMD Command here at NAS Sigonella. A volunteer with us since November 2020, Peter jumped right in with a positive attitude, ready to give back to his fellow service members. He gives his all at every event he volunteers for and truly cares about fulfilling the USO mission. When asked for a quote about his experience as a volunteer he had this to say, “"I love volunteering at the USO because it’s not only a great opportunity to give back, but an excellent way to make new friends and feel a sense of community in a foreign place.“
