USO Naples Volunteer of the Month November- Kimberly Anderson

The USO Naples Volunteer team is comprised of selfless, dedicated volunteers who are committed to serving their military community. Kimberly Anderson is one of these outstanding volunteers who has gone above and beyond her role as a volunteer ever since she joined the USO Naples Volunteer team in late October. Kimberly has dedicated nearly 50 hours of volunteer service in that time, volunteering at over 20 volunteer opportunities.

Originally from Jacksonville Florida, Kimberly is stationed here in Naples with her husband, son and pup. “I chose to start volunteering because I wanted my time to be spent with a purpose. Quarantine this spring really showed me just how much time was wasted in my days and it really drove me to search for ways my time can be useful for other people while I’m here,” Kimberly said when asked why she chose to volunteer. Many of you have probably seen Kimberly working hard at events like Hot Dog Fridays or at her favorite program- Traveling Troop Lunch! When Kimberly isn’t volunteering, she is most likely spending time with her family cooking, playing tennis, golf or out hiking.

The USO Naples team is grateful for Kimberly’s unwavering support and her willingness to jump in wherever she is needed. Her high energy and enthusiasm make her a fantastic addition to the Naples Volunteer Committee. Please join us in congratulating her as the USO Naples Volunteer of the Month for November 2020!
