USO Sigonella Volunteer of the Month October-Rigel Repunte

Here at USO Sigonella our volunteer team is made up of hard-working individuals whose dedication to the service members and families of NAS Sigonella never goes unnoticed. Each event they attend is another opportunity to extend a helping hand and lift the spirits of the service members across the installation. They embody the USO mission each time they put on their USO Volunteer Gear and make us proud to have them on our team. One individual hit the ground running and has impressed us with his commitment to our cause and willingness to help any way he can.

Meet our October Volunteer of the Month, LSSA Rigel Repunte. You may recognize him from our Tuesday Troop Lunch To-Go Program, Family Bowling, handing out craft kits to the kiddos on Marinai and assisting with various tasks in the office. Originally from Houston, Texas, Rigel works with the NAVSUP Command here on NAS Sigonella. He comes to every event ready to work and always has a smile on his face. He’s enthusiastic and has proven to be dependable when called upon. When asked about his volunteer experience he said, “I enjoy helping my fellow service men and women, it truly brightens my day!”

Congratulations and a big thanks to Rigel for lending a helping hand and working so hard to bring joy to others by volunteering with USO Sigonella.
