USO Naples Volunteer of the Month- MA1 Arron ReederBarton

USO Naples is excited to announce MA1 Arron ReederBarton as our Volunteer of the Month for October 2020! Since joining the USO Naples Volunteer Committee this past August, Arron has dedicated over 30 hours of volunteer service to the USO and military community. Many of you might recognize him from programs like Hot Dog Fridays, Cup of Joe or might have even had a treat delivered to your door made by him! Whether it be serving hot dogs to families or a hot cup of coffee to our hardworking service members, Arron has brought an energetic and positive attitude to each program he has attended.

Originally from Rancho Cucamonga, California, MA1 ReederBarton is stationed here in Naples with his wife Alina and daughter Eva. When asked why he chose to volunteer with the USO he said, “I like to volunteer with the USO because I enjoy the little things we do that really make people’s days. Especially how happy the kids get for the Witch Fairy or even Hot Dog Friday’s. During Covid-19 the USO has been pivotal in helping boost the morale of service members and families and I’m just glad I could help in some way.” Arron has been extremely helpful with making treats every week for our popular Sweet Tooth Fairy Program. “I love the Sweet Tooth/Witch Fairy Prep because I really enjoy baking goodies for everyone. It is also the hardest program though, because I always want to eat what I’m making,” he says.

If Arron isn’t volunteering or baking for the USO, you can find him spending his free time with his wife and daughter either camping or traveling. USO Naples is proud to have MA1 on our volunteer team and is thankful for all his service to the USO. Please join us as we congratulate him as our Volunteer of the Month!
